Double chin liposuction
Double chin liposuction aims to emphasize line of the lower jaw, to outline the chin and to narrow the neck and therefore even to prolong it. The fat is disrupted by ultrasound. It is not done mechanically like by traditional liposuction. The chin is then more symmetric and perfect and odds are completely minimalized from the skin surface.
Preparation:
Do not take any drugs containing acetylsalicylic acid (Acylpirin, Aspirin, Anopyrin etc.) three weeks before the surgery. Do not eat, drink or smoke from the midnight before the surgery. Wash your hair in the morning before the surgery, do not use any hair lotion. Take a scarf and sunglasses with you.
Surgery:
The procedure is performed as a combination of intravenous and local anesthesia, usual hospitalization takes 2-3 days.
Post-surgical care:
It is necessary to sleep strictly on the back to prevent one-sided swelling or larger post-surgical bruise for the first couple of days after the surgery. It is good to wash your hair gently in five days after the surgery. The sutures are removed 12 to 14 days after the surgery. The swellings and bruises absorb in 14 days. After the surgery there might appear spots with reduced sensitiveness on the face and even earlobes. These spots regenerate in several weeks or months. If the surgery is associated with double chin fat suction (liposuction) then a plaster fixation or special bandage are necessary in the post-surgical period. It is possible to purchase this special bandage at our clinic. A weight reduction of 2-5 kg is recommended up to one month before the actual procedure. And then to gain slightly weight after the surgery. Too short hair is not recommended. Be sure to have cotton buds, disinfection (AJATIN, SEPTONEX – not in a spray) and sensitive shampoo (for kids, JOHNSON, etc.)
