When to undergo septoplasty

Plastic surgery of nasal septum, or septoplasty, is sought mainly by people suffering from problems associated with breathing through nose, snoring,  inflammation of the nose and paranasal sinuses, chronic bronchitis or asthma, or who are dissatisfied with the look of their nose (as part of rhinoplasty).

How septoplasty is performed and how long it takes?

Rhinoplasty combined with septoplasty, in which the nose is reduced or narrowed or in which an overall refinement of nose is involved, is usually performed under general anaesthesia, which is comfortable for both the patient and the surgeon.

Recovery after rhinoplasty + septoplasty

Following a complete rhinoplasty associated with septoplasty, a two-day hospitalization is recommended, while one day is sufficient following a soft nose tissue correction. If the client decides for a procedure with local anaesthesia, she/he can leave the clinic immediately after the intervention.
