Head Doctor of the Clinic
Doctor Mestak is head physician and co-owner of the renowned Esthé Clinic. He is also chief physician at the Department of Plastic Surgery at Charles University in Prague. In addition, he is head of the Centre for Complex Surgical Treatment for Women with Breast Cancer and also holds the position of head of the Department of Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Postgraduate Education.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Charles University in Prague. He has published more than 90 texts, developed teaching materials for medical students and taken part in several research projects for the Ministry of Health in the CzechDoctor Mestak is head physician and co-owner of the renowned Esthé Clinic. He also works as committee secretary within the Ministry of Health for the science and research of plastic surgery.
Doctor Mestak has been on the Committee for Plastic Surgery at the Jan Evengelista Purkyne Society (JEP) for 30 years. He is also a member of the committee board and deputy chairman of the Society of Aesthetic Surgery JEP, holding an advanced certificate within the same society. In addition to this, he is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (IPRAS) and also the Society for the Use of Lasers in Medicine JEP. He is also head of the Accreditation Committee for the Ministry of Health.
He was awarded the Memorial Medal for Merit for plastic surgery and holds a patent for innovations within the field. He also led the board of directors at the Institute of Medical Cosmetics in Prague, the oldest health facility in the field of aesthetic medicine in the Czech Republic. He has completed long-term study visits in the USA, Germany, Sweden, Brazil, Norway, Argentina and Switzerland, amongst others.
