History of Esthé
The Esthé Clinic was established as a part of Kolowrat’s building complex, based on the long-term friendship of Count Tomáš Kolowrat-Krakovský with Associate Professor Jan Měšťák, M.D., the chief surgeon of the Clinic. It is situated in a unique location in the city centre of Prague, in the street Na Příkopě, accessible for all clients from Prague as well as from distant surroundings.
After a year of constructions and an investment provided by Count Kolowrat, the Clinic was opened at a ceremony in December 1997.

Reception at the Esthé Clinic |
The remarkable success of the Clinic is also supported by the legacy of the Kolowrat family, focusing on a strong sense for medical ethics and humanity in relation to patients, as the chief surgeon promised and emphasized at the opening ceremony. Prominent Czech experts guarantee highly professional and qualified services at the Clinic. A professional team of qualified nurses has been especially chosen to ensure post-operative process and recovery without complications, supported by superior environment and conditions at the Clinic.
The Clinic includes a sterile operating room and an operating room for treatment under local anesthesia, single and double rooms with TV, telephone and bathroom with a total capacity of 15 beds. The reputation of one of the most prominent private medical institution in this country is enhanced by ultrasound liposuction, the first of its kind in the Czech Republic, vibration liposuction, options of endoscopic operating technique and the laser program performed on state-of-the-art instruments.
The good reputation of the private clinic is also supported by the fact that its chief surgeon Associate Professor Jan Měšťák, M.D., is the head of the Clinic for Plastic Surgery at the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, and at the University Hospital Na Bulovce and the head of the Sub-department for Plastic Surgery at the Institute for Postgraduate Medical Education. He also leads the Centre for Complex Surgical Treatment of women with breast cancer which works at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery which he has founded and which is the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic.
